A multitude of tasks are performed in HAC, including pre-admission and outpatient diagnostic work such as drawing blood, performing EKGs and preoperative assessments. Imaging, laboratory, cardiopulmonary services are all served by the HAC. The center is open Monday - Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Health Assessment Center's centralized operations are dynamic for a hospital. The clinic-style, "one-stop" approach may benefit the patient - it is designed so he or she can avoid searching for and dealing with multiple departments and people. The Health Assessment Center accommodates laboratory, radiology, MRI, and other diagnostic tests including treadmill, EKG, EEG testing and more, in one convenient location.
