Concerns, Grievances, and Complaints It is the goal of Irvine Regional Hospital and Medical Center staff to provide the highest quality of care and customer service to all of our patients, family members, and others that we provide services to. If you are concerned about the care or service you receive, please request to speak with your nurse or the director of the service. You may request information about the formal grievance process from the Nursing Director or Clinical Manager on your nursing unit. Our desire is to work together with you to resolve any issues regarding the care or service.
Issues that cannot be resolved at the hospital level may be forwarded to our Tenet Cares department at (800) 743-6333.
You have the right to lodge a complaint or grievance directly with the Department of Health Services and/or the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring.

Presenting a concern will not compromise your treatment. Our goal is to provide healthcare and services that is supportive of patient and family wishes, recognizing that situations and decision-making can cause conflicts in the course of healthcare delivery.
Of course, we also appreciate compliments. Yellow “Star Awards” cards are available on every unit for your comments. The “Star Awards” cards let us know about a hospital employee who has exceeded your expectations. Simply complete the form and give it to your nurse. We will be sure to recognize the employee during our monthly “Star Awards” presentation. Our goal is to always exceed your expectations.
